Home made coffee ice cream

It's only day 2 of my holidays and i am flippin bored. I wake up at 8 every single morning and i literally just sit on my couch and rot away. I made some coffee ice cream with some leftover coffee powder i found at home which was set to expire in october, and it was my first attempt at ice cream making without an ice cream machine!! Perfect for the weather now, just one scoop of cold frosty coffee cream topped with a chocolate wafer, yum!

Also, a few things i got over the weekend. I got a knitted sweater from H&M and a plastic mint satchel at the flea for $5! I also received my sunglasses in the mail and i can't wait to wear them soon! I guess the only thing that is good about the sunny weather in Singapore is that you get excuses to buy funky shades :)

Sunday Lunch

simple lunch made by my mom, porridge with assorted side dishes, and kimchi with some century egg and salted egg. Having a movie marathon with my parents, beer and nuts, perfect sunday for me.

Houses

Breakfast on a saturday morning, wanted to make eggs benedict but i was short of too many ingredients, hence i decided to just toast some bread with a pat of garlic paste, top it with some sliced cheese and made a runny poached egg. Together with a glass of soy milk, it makes a hearty and fat free meal for me.

celebrating the start of my long awaited holidays with the company my best friend, exploring places and feasting on junk food and ice cream. And sweating it out in the moist heat with my parka on.

Made a simple breakfast today, toast and grapes and soy milk in a star bucks glass bottle. I just can't bear to throw away a $3 bottle.. i am a hoarder... i hoard all the wrong things..
Anyway, one more day to my holidays!! i just gotta, do this report, edit this power point presentation, and i am thinking there is 4590 other things to be done.... sigh. i really need this holiday so bad.

Breakfast

For 18 years of my pathetic life, i have been unable to find myself a hobby. And i am proud to say, that yes! I think i love to cook and take pictures of food. Well, at least i am able to catch up with food, unlike fashion.... which is an endless chasing of something so.... superficial...? I don't know, i get some kind of weird orgasmic "achievement unlocked" feeling when i master a recipe or two..
I don't bake though, i can't bake to save my life. I prefer making meals and experimenting with vegetables and poultry. And lastly, I am no photographer, i just like to take pictures and experiment with angles.
This post is awkward and out of place. i know.

Mornings with brirdges

Spent one of my mornings on a trip to the award winning henderson bridge, with my colour and light classmates and lecturer, trekked up a steep hill, got all tired and sweaty and out of breath.

The view up there was beautiful, and the architecture of the bridge was interesting. But not interesting enough to keep us focused on taking pictures of the actual bridge for our assignments!
